Ramón Fernández-Pacheco and the councillor of Agriculture, Juan José Safe, value the investigation that, in the sector of the agriculture, has converted the field almeriense in international referent
The mayor of Almería, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, has stood out the bet that the companies almerienses do by the innovation, the investigation and the technology in the field of the agriculture. Accompanied by the councillor delegated of the area of Agriculture, Juan José Safe, has assisted to the first day of celebrated open doors by the company GyM in The Cañada.
A familiar company that, founded in 1986 by the brothers Francisco and Julio González López in the capital, exports today agricultural machinery “of last technology” to Sudamérica and Morocco, in addition to resupplying to good part of the agricultural sector almeriense.
“We have wanted to give to know in Almería the section of our company that manufactures phytosanitary machinery, in addition to all a range of products headed to the intensive agriculture, under plastic”, explains Francisco González, one of the managers of GyM, that today has 19 workers and manufactures all his products in The Cañada.
“We bet by the last technology and have several patents so much of machinery as of agricultural products”, aims Julio González, that values the importance to expose the last novelties in front of the agriculturalists almerienses. “It is interesting that can see what do, palparlo”, insists.
Bet by the technology and the employment
The mayor of Almería, that has assisted to the day of open doors, has valued this initiative that allows “to show to all the sector that Almería is much more that hectares and agricultural hectares under plastic. Almería is a province in which it investigates , innova, bets by the technology and from which exports to all the world”.
In this sense, Fernández-Pacheco has appreciated to GyM that have wanted to have the City council in the presentation of his new products and has showed proud of the companies that bet “by the innovation in a so strategic sector for Almería, as it is the agriculture, and that, besides, contribute to create places of work”.
